After years of loving the music scene Minneapolis, Kevin and his wife packed up his home studio and piano and moved to Oslo, Norway in the summer of 2012. Kevin is looking forward to exploring more of the beautiful Norwegian countryside and playing more fantastic conerts around Oslo and elsewhere.

 

 

Pre-Existing Condition Listed Among Best MN Albums of 2011

Kevin’s newest record, Pre-Existing Condition, was lauded as an honrable mention in City Pages' (Village Voice) Best MN Albums of 2011. The list of honorable mentions includes such luminaries of the Minnesota music scene as Atmosphere, Mason Jennings and the Jayhawks. Read more here.

 

 

 

Pre-Existing Condition Released April 26, 2011 

Kevin Steinman’s new record, Pre-Existing Condition, is now available through Bandcamp, iTunes, CD Baby, Amazon, and Electric Fetus in Minneapolis. Produced by Andy Thompson (Jeremy Messersmith, Dan Wilson), the album features some of the Twin Cities' best musicians, including Chris Koza, Ben Kyle, Alicia Wiley, and a host of others. The album is already in rotation on The Current, Cities 97 and KFAI.
